Personally I think its between Clays and International. Not a bad powder, used an 8lber on 7/8oz loads. I think its a better 1 or 1 1/8oz powder.

No, Clay Dot is not the same as International Clays. It's burn rate is faster, more similar to Clays. Also, no, Clay Dot recipes do not call for the same powder drop as Clays. It is similar, but not the same. Unfortunately, the Alliant Powder Reloader's Guide lacks data for a variety of primer, wad and hull combinations. I am thinking a lot of shooters would like to see that worked on and expanded...….when powder is readily available again.

Its a good 1oz and light 1 1/8 powder. It was supposed to be the same as Clays. It is close, but follow the recipes.

I load 18-20 grains In a Federal hull with a Claybuster 12SO wad and 1 Oz of 7.5 or 8's.
