Anyone out there using Clay-Dot 17.5 grains in a Spolar. Before I buy a dozen different Hornady bushings, does anyone have experience using this load in a Spolar. I have a 468 that it calls for and is dropping 18.9 grains.

Thanks guys,

Bob

Just loaded that exact load on a Spolar. Ponsness Warren "J" bushing drops 17.5 grains of Clay Dot in a Spolar loader.

I have had the same experience with the Hornady #468 bushing dropping a heavier load than it should and I use a Hornady 366 press. I found that Hornady bushing #447 drops 18 grains of Clay Dot on my press. Your experiences may vary.

I have a P/W and like Jeffs my "J" bushing drops 17.5 with Clay Dot and Clays alike.
