There are several CXT threads on here at the moment but I have yet to see anything that shows a head to head comparison between the CXT and XT. By looking on Brownings website the two guns seem to be the same. So what are the real differences? Is the CXT just a cheaper version with less engraving, etc? XT shoot higher? They balance different? Whenever I do buy an over and under I truly want a gun that can be shot between all disciples of shotgun sports, one reason the CXT is so intriguing, along with its price. Thanks.

The XT has higher grade II/III wood and you can get a factory adjustible comb. With the XT you get 2 Fulls and an Imod. The chokes on the xt are flush invector plus. The XT has a
2-3/4" chamber. The XT comes with a Hi-Viz comp sight. The XT has an ever so slightly higher comb with the drop at comb being 1-11/16 on the adj comb and 1-9/16 on the monte carlo. The XT has 20 LPI checkering. The XT has the older style recoilpad. XT weight with 32" barrels adj comb is 8lbs 13oz. XT with monte carlo stock is 8lbs 8oz MSRP $2,650.
