Citori owners , what´s you prefered trigger shoe and why ? did you tried all of them or just used the one that comes in the gun ?

I like the wide smooth canted one. It just fits my finger the best. I tried them all.

My CXS only came with one trigger shoe. I swapped it with one from one of my other Citoris. I'm sure it was a cost saving move. Extra shoes cost around $50 each.

Smooth straight. I am a lefty so the cant was off for me with the stock trigger. Also, I think it was checkered but I'm not sure if I remember correctly. Been a while since I gave that gun away.

Your comment made me think of something...I don't have this problem but my buddy does, any idea (open question) if you move the trigger position, does that make the guard more/less likely to smack your middle finger? Asking for a friend. He installed a PFS and the guard was smacking his finger last time I talked to him. Just curious.

Thanks for all the replies to my question.
upon further research I’ve found out that only “one” trigger shoe is supplied—and I assume that the others are “available”!
And the gun does have those other settings/positions for adjustment(the ALLEN wrench was included)!
I will play around with those adjustments for the trigger guard issues as well.

The 725s come with three triggers; the CX and CXS only come with one.

It's a fair trade-off given how good the CX and CXS are for what they cost.

be very carefull to not over tighten the trigger screw it bends the trigger block and the trigger wont work there has been a few threads on this

I have a xt. I use the smooth canted shoe, feels the best to me. I moved the shoe forward all the way; have really big hands. My middle finger doesn't hit the trigger guard. Shoot well. Dave kr

The 410 CX had two. I changed to the narrow one and adjusted it to fit me.

Yes that was one of the reasons I moved the trigger. That allowed me to move my hand back away from the guard.

I recently bought the canted one for my Crossover Target and I love it, it just feels natural. Got it for $32.
