My CXT states that the Chamber is chrome lined...

But as SteveS1965 states the whole bore cleans easily.

Many pluses, few negatives. Easy cleaning, most of them eat about any ammo, no rusting, chrome can clean up imperfections in the bore. One of the very few negatives is bore and choke work.

My Beretta Parallel Target started peeling chrome out of the bore near the muzzle. Beretta quickly replaced the barrel. An older gun, out of warranty, would be a different situation.

If my K-80 had a chrome bore, I would be happy. It does have a chrome lined chamber, like the Browning.

The only chrome bores I ever had were on my Beretta Gold E combo. They were very rough and scraped plastic off the wad. They were a pain to clean. In contrast my Allor honed Perazzi barrels were so smooth they cleaned up in an instant. I never had any plastic build up in any of the three barrels.
