I picked up a Daly Auto, 12ga 3", looks to be in good condition. Anyone ever shoot one? What can I expect? Plan on using it for ducks, geese, and late season pheasants. Probably put about 100 rounds a year thru it.
I bought one at a yard sale 5 years ago.. looked brand new.. made in turkey.. $250.00 honestly.. probably the best 250 clams I have ever spent... I turkey hunt with it, shoot squirrels,doves..whatever.. leave it in my truck for months at a time.. I dont think I have ever even swabbed the barrel.. I have used it many times as a backup gun for the kids on my trap team when their gun would break.. never had a issue with it...I think you'll like it..
Well, I've never seen or heard of a good one. One of the problems (timb99) is that Charles Daly is no more.....so, sending it back is no longer an option and finding parts gets harder by the day.
I bought one about a year ago. .12 26" It would'nt eject
3 dram trap load even with the light piston. After coming
back from the service center, I still had problems with it.
Traded it in for a Super X-2.
