The Dam of this litter hasn’t been trialed but has had hundreds of retrieves on ducks and geese and is the granddaughter of the winningest dog in UKC history- who just happens to be a Choc lab- and her sire is high on that list also

Enjoyed the video, love to watch a good dog work whether it be in field trials or hunting. A friend of mine named Brad Arrington has a facility named Mossy Pond Retrievers here in South Georgia where he trains and owns some world class dogs and won thousands of ribbons this past year. It still amazes me what these dogs can be trained to do and how smart they really are. When you get a spare minute pull up the webb site Mossy Pond Retrievers and watch the video. The best I've seen (chocolate Lab) was Charles Tyson's FC AFC Barracuda Blue MH. I did not see, but presume it was a son, his FC AFC Cuda's Blue Ryder MH. It's hard for me to take a HRCH title seriously.

Falls 3 years ago and Purchased my BLF after watching her parents compete .She
is a wonderful Waterfowl dog and companion to me .

The best Chocolate dog was National Field Champion/ Amateur Field Champion-Storms Riptide Star- Master Hunter.......NFC/AFC Storms Riptide Star MH

Owned by Marilyn Fender and trained by Mike Lardy. Rascal (call name) was the only Chocolate Lab to win an AKC National Open since 1940.

Chocolate lab bitches need to should be bred back to a black lab malea that are chocolate factored from Field trial stock. You get a dog that is more tractable. Breeding chocolate to chocolate does not improve the gene pool which is why among other training issues you see very few chocolate dogs in HRC and AKC hunt tests or field trials.

Ironwood Tarnation - didn't know him.

NAFC FC Cody's R Dee (R Dee) - saw him many times and knew him from a pup. His owner, Larry Bergmann, was from Roberts and a member of my local retriever club. R Dee was the 1991 National Amateur Field Champion and a son of the 1984 NAFC Trumarc's Zip Code (Cody), one of the all-time greats. Cody was the son of 1976 NFC San Joaquin Honcho, who was also the great-grandsire of my dog Casino Barroom Bouncer (Bounce), so your dog and my dog were cousins. The first Open I ever judged had Bounce's sire, FC AFC CFC CNAFC Aces High III (Willie), as the winner, and R Dee finished second.

FC AFC Lucyana Fast Willie was also a Willie son, so a half-brother to Bounce. I believe he was owned by John and Laura Parrot of Louisiana, and finished one National Amateur stake in Sun Valley. I saw him there.

Chopper - I'm not familiar with the call name. Perhaps FC AFC Wilderness Harley to Go? If so, another great one, but I don't ever remember seeing him.

As an aside, my Chesapeake Rocky finally finished his Senior Hunter title this spring, and passed a Master Hunter test this weekend. His sister Lexie passed three of four Junior Hunter tests this weekend and the last, and needs one more pass for her Junior Hunter title. She turns one year old next month.

Congratulations on the new titles for your dogs!

FC AFC Ironwood Tarnation was trained by a man named Berger who is from Del Tone Kennels in St. Cloud Minnesota. Both he and the dog are in the Retriever Hall of Fame, I believe. Tarnation, if I remember correctly is the grandson of 2x NAFC Super Chief.

Chopper.........I believe it is NFC Club Mead's Road Warrior.
