i have started to check POI w/a brass chamber laser @ 20', indoors--i feel i am pretty close to %'s, basis neal winstons formula given to me earlier!---but what i have found , is that some chambers, seem to be untrue with a few going slightly to the left!!(3/8" off to left @ 20'=? @ 30yds??) --shud this be a concern or does the choke straighten this out??

Wally, using a chamber laser in shotguns to determine POI is a lesson in frustration. Better yet, one that fits in the barrels end will come much closer. OR, deprime a 12 and 20 ga. hull and use them as peep-sights on a small spot at 20-40 yards? That is the true centerline of the bore on that gun. When you look down at the bead over the top of the receiver and aim at that same small spot, you'll see how the shot charge drops 3 to 4 inches at 40 yards. If you also mark another spot where the bead alignment is on the pattern paper above that centerline spot, you'll see how drop works in shotguns.
