Looking for a value estimate / possible sale. Taken in on partial trade for components is this CH Auto Champion in .38 Spec./ .357 mag. It is an inline progressive and seems complete with the exception of the finished round deflector on the discharge chute. Dies are included and also has more than 20 powder bushings. I believe this could be as old as 1980 but there is no date in the operators manual. It is available as I received it if a value can be determined. TIA

WHAT AM I BID ? ? ?

I have decided to offer this reloader up for auction here on TS.

I have a "reserve" price in mind but am going to start asking at $50.00 to see if there is any interest. If not then I'll just "ebay it"

I will PAY THE SHIPPING to the lower 48.

The high bid above my reserve on Saturday Dec. 19, 2009 at 6:00 PM Eastern time will own it.

The biggest problem with the model 5 was it took quite a while to change the split rails and adjust the shuttle bar.. To load 1 shell.. it worked great.. they got the bugs out.. But the Dillon press was less money at the time.. and easier to convert.. That was the death blow.. Great rugged press..Loads excellent if you READ the instruction book to keep it in time.. If I were not loading on a pair of Dillon 1000's.. I'd be looking at it.. Works similar to the CAMDEX in operational theory.. Likes Federal or Winchester primers best... CCI was iffy.. All Good..
