I seem to remember seeing a few years ago a plastic shell box holder that IIRC was marketed under the name Carter. It held a box of shells, had provisions for a couple spare shells, and clipped on.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm taking about, and if so, a lead on where i can buy one?

I got my Carters box from Shotgun Sports magazine several years ago. Shortly after I got it, they quit listing it in their accessories section.
