Lesser Spotted Snipe. Very rare and elusive. Saw one once on an episode of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. It was the same episode where Jim Fowler wrestled a giant anaconda in a swamp. Marlin Perkins stayed calm when Jim almost died in the swamp but he got all excited when he he saw some Snipe droppings.
If those are White Flyers we shot them years ago at Vancouver Gun Club and referred to them as "Golf Ball" targets. Picked up a bunch of them with gray streaks across the top with no holes in them. White Flyer out of California makes what locally we refer to as "Ridge" targets and Washington State and Lower British Columbia are having them trucked in. The freight from Southern California is a killer though but they are a premium target that everyone loves to shoot.
