Can anyone give me a heads up on a gunsmith to put a release trigger on a early BT-99. Can anyone who has had one done comment on longevity with no problems.

Get in touch with Phillip Crenwelge (210) 313-5988

And from my experience, the releases will far outlast a regular BT99 pull trigger.

Crenwelge is fair and fast. I believe he is in Southern Wisconsin this time of year.

Phil did 2 BT-99 plus' and a Citori plus for me and they work perfectly.
Plus he gave me a volume discount. A great individual to deal with.

Skeet's Gun Shop in Tahlequah,OK did mine several years ago and its still going strong. Dean Harris is the gunsmith and does not mind phone calls. Make sure the trigger can be converted back to pull easily and with no adverse pull or creep problems in the pull mode. Very resonable and a pleasure to deal with.

I always have Darrell Johnson at Spears Gun Shop do any trigger work on my Brownings. He is the best by far in my opinion (whatever that's worth. His contact info is:
