I have a browning citori 725 unsingle that I am shooting trap with, been using a improved modified extended choke. I measured the diameter with my digital calipers and it measured .725. I recently bought a full extended choke and that one measured .702. Is there that much difference between a Improved mod. and a Full? A .023 diff. in dia. Thanks. Mike.

Number2 has given his choke measurements, but what value the choke provides is meaningful only if you know the bore diameter. Is it a .729 bore (a standard 12 gs bore), or a .735 or .740 or something else? As noted, the patterning board is the only way to tell what the choke tube is proving you with your loads.
