SOLD--Stashed away in the back of a closet was this very early Browning 20 gauge Skeet gun. These early guns had smooth blued receivers without any engraving. And like the Miroku's that they are--they have bushed firing pins. This feature was dropped early on in the Citori production design. This 20 bore skeeter is typical of the guns of the day. 26 inch barrels bored skeet and skeet and a lower rib design then the later and current production. Selective trigger and ejectors of course. This gun has perfect bores and mechanics. The blue is 98%--even the trigger guard is pristine. The wood has some bumps and dings here and there, some minor finish wear.and I'd rate it 85%. NO cracks or splits though. The forend is the wider beavertail type that was on the late Skeet Superposed's. Toplever well to the right and the gun is tight and on face. I gave it a test drive a few weeks ago and broke a 49x50 low gun with it. It's a shooter for sure! All original down to the Browning pad which is a bit hard, but usable! A nice gun to bust clays or upland game if you wish. $849 delivered to the lower 48.
