Scrap brass is over $2 a pound

The old Winchesters 209's would certainly be worthwhile to keep. At 15.4 grains apiece they would make a little over 2 pounds a thousand.

It would take over 2000 of the modern W209 cups to make a pound, not to mention the time and effort to disassemble them.

I am surprised the STS209's have a copper anvil as well as a copper cup. Should be easier on firing pin tips?

Reckon the steel cups on the Cheddite and Noble Sports explain the firing pin troubles some folks report?

MAG410: Nice job and thanks for taking the time to photograph all your results.

How about keep the brass from the base of the hulls too?

Merry Christmas.
