Searching for opinions.
I’m in the process of moving to a new home.
While packing stuff in my basement I came across boxes that several of my new guns came in over the years.
Mostly boxes that some of my 22s and black powder rifles came in. My question??
They have been there for over twenty years,
Keep or throw away????
Yes
I still have all the rifles with zero intentions of selling.
Thanks in advance.

Don't be surprised, you can probably sell them if you don't want them.
Yes, somebody looking to sell same brand firearm with no box may buy that box to enhance the sale a bit along the road especially if the papers are with it also. Hell, if l had all the boxes l would need, l could make a cardboard bale!!

Nothing to do with Trap Guns but a Ruger Light-Weight single-Six box is bringing $1000-$1500 (that is the silver/red two piece box) - so boxes do add value. How many of those were tossed in the early days. Keep the boxes if you have the room...

If you plan on passing down the firearm to a family member and never consider selling it chuck it, or sell it but if there is even a remote chance you or your descendants might consider selling it, keep the damn thing, as others have said, it boost the final sales price.
