I just want to say hi and thanks to the folks at the Flagler Gun Club in Bunnell Florida for making me feel so welcome last week. I went completely empty handed not knowing what to expect. There were folks who loaned me a gun and gave me shells and ear plugs so I could shoot three rounds while I was there. The targets were perfect and the weather was gorgeous. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Big Kudo's to Jack for lending me his 391, and to Marion and her husband Jim for letting me shoot Marion's break open and for the box of shells. Also shouts out to Bob, and Dean for the great conversation and help!! There were many nice folks out that morning. Also one man who sold me 2 boxes of shells, but I did not get his name. Thanks!
If you get down in the Daytona/Jacksonville Florida area, check out Flagler. They have open shooting on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I went on a saturday. I will certainly stop by again next time I am in town. I might still have to borrow a gun, but I will bring shells !
