ks5shooter,

1) Perazzi's are available with springs, if you choose.

2) Don't believe everything you read on TS.com.

3) Ever wonder why a Kolar looks like a Perazzi?

4) They are both excellent choices, as are Krieghoff and Beretta's.

5) Yes, I've broken a spring. Nice and crisp one minute, gone the next. No in between. The cost of the crispest trigger action I've ever had.

6) There are many types of race cars. But, they are still all race cars.

7) ..What PerazziBigBore said.

I don't have enough experience to really give an opinion but I would think you would do well with either. Which one depends on you and your personal shooting style.

I like my Kolar combo and gave up a KX-5. I shoot with two fellows that swear by Perazzi's.

Both great guns!

I've been lucky enough to have owned five Perazzi's, several Krieghoffs and I keep going back to Kolar. IMHO there isn't a nicer shotgun made with the exception of the Silver Seitz.

The answer to this question is to try both and make up your own mind. After shooting for many years we all develop favourites.

I would add further that Kolar is made in the USA. The atitude and service at the Kolar factory is impressive!!
