[Jim Bradbury]

While cleaning my XT, I noticed that the firing pins are pitted and the bottom on is starting to flatten out some. I am guessing that I have about 40,000 rounds through this gun. Who has the best replacement firing pins and springs? Looking for recommendations.

Buy from Browning. You really don't want an aftermarket part in your gun.
Warranty, etc. you know.

I have 3 Browning target shotguns. I continually had misfire problems with my favorite. Had new browning springs and firing pin installed twice at authorized Browning service center and still had misfires. Ordered new spring and firing pin kit from Jim Flynn and installed. This has solved my misfire problem. So One more vote for Jim Flynn on here.

Id get a set to have on hand JIC but those little pits are really just a discoloration and mark from such a minor erosion it would take another 100K before it would be an issue if even then ...get the parts but I wouldn't touch it until you actually start having a problem though though I doubt it
