I just bought one of these and it is not perfect, I am guessing about 75-85% shape.
What is it worth.

Well Bill --- buy it then-- lets do some calculations for you

Purchase this gun like you want for $1400

Refinish nickle receiver- $250

Reblue barrels - $100

Refinish wood- $250

Purchase skeet tubes- $1400

Purchased used skeet tube case - $150

Now you have $3150 in your gun and you can turn around and sell it for $1800 like you did--- smart

Shipping and insurance by the way might add another 200-300

you still have a gun that is mechanically old

You might buy it at the price you quoted- $1400 - I am sure he would be glad to sell it to you. I know you wont follow through though.

I on the other hand am not intersted in purchasing it at the price I quoted
$550-750 for a 75 percent gun-- 680 skeet

One of us has some conviction as to value and the other one doesnt
