Beretta USA has issued a recall for its Neos .22 LR pistols and is notifying all of its dealers. Go to http://berettasupport.com/neos/ and follow the instructions on the web page. Simply enter your Neos serial number into the box and hit search. If your gun is in the recall series by serial number follow the instructions for shipping it to Beretta for repair

That is definately a problem they need to address. It may fire when moving the safety from OFF to ON or may fire with the safety ON. Yikes watch out. Good reason why a gun should always be pointed downrange and treated as if its loaded and ready to fire.----Matt
