Not concerned with cosmetic differences...

What are the mechanical and physical differences between the Beretta DT-10 trap model and the sporting clays model ?

I know of two good sporting shooters that prefer the DT10 trap O/U model for sporting. The unsingle trap shoots high and has adjustable POI rib but the O/U barrels on the trap model are relatively flat shooting. Parallel combs (as on the trap model) are favored by many sporting shooters and almost all trap shooters. IMO..the line between sporting guns and trap O/U's are becoming blurred with the pure sporting models loosing favor in the latest fad.

Go to beretta.com and you can see the differences for yourself . The physical differences will be obvious. Internally they are the same.

"... the O/U barrels on the trap model are relatively flat shooting"

So the O/U barrels on the trap model and the sporting clays model are essentially the same ?

Again, on the O/U barrels on the trap model, do the two barrels shoot to the same point of impact ?

That is, the under barrel is not intended to shooter to a higher point than the upper barrel ?
