Hello, does anyone know of the thread size of the top tang set screw that holds the barrel selector switch from moving? I looked at a replacement one on Brownells website part #54. They want $30 for that little screw. Thanks,
Troy

Something metric no doubt. I know a 0-80 is too small and a 1-72 is too big. I took a 0-80, snipped it to about 3/16" long and deformed the threads a bit until it was a snug fit and tapped it in. With a head on it, I can pull it out with pliers if I want. It's not as though it would be a big deal if t ever came out accidentally. I'd suggest starting with a tiny brad and filing it down to about .05-.06" while checking for a press fit.

You don't have to buy one. I have a couple of extras. PM me your mailing info and I'll mail you one.
The only thing is you will need a 1.3mm allen wrench. I bought the five piece mini metric set for about
$5.00. You can get it at KC Tool.
