Discussion at the club today and wondering if someone would know the I.D. of a Beretta 12 ga 390 barrel (mobile choke style)? Some claimed it is significantly tighter the std US 12 ga bore range (not overbore/invec plus etc).

All Beretta factory bores that have Mobil Chokes will range from
.720 to .725.
Very rare if you ever see one at .725
The majority will be .721-.723.

Gentlemen---thank you--one local party says .721 std so --.721 to .725 sounds good--now I have to consider how my measured American choke tubes fit in this equation.

My mobile choked 391 Urika Sporting is .720". Very tight but pattens very will with Briley extended chokes.

Look at the bottom of the barrel isnt it stamped with the bore size? Look for a 18.4 or so thats the bore size in centimeters.

^^^Yes, this is 1000% correct...the bore diameter is stamped on the bottom of the barrel in millimeters...example would be 18.4. You can convert the millimeter measure to thousands (of inches) with a google search for the calculator...easy peasy.
