Is this a Broadway or Lightning trap? You can tell by rib width. What is
weight of the gun?

Teddy, Its not a Lightning Model. Even back then they had the rounded front forend!!! Has to be a Trap model. To long for skeet and there was no Sporting back then. Oh Yeh, a field gun would be 26-28 inch. Break-em all. Jeff

I have (or my daughter now has) a Lightning Trap with 30" barrels and narrow
rib. It has the same shaped forend as this gun. I will see the gun this
weekend, to see esactly how it is marked. I liked better than the Broadway
trap. If this is the same gun, I have interest. I will be away from computor, but call at 701-527-5263. Thanks Gary Owen

I had a lightning with 32" barrels and the wide rib, was it not original?

FWIW: My 1970 30" Broadway with a beaver tail forearm is stamped "Lightning" on the receiver.
