I don't speak Italian, but the difference is that the first word ends in "i" and the second word ends in "o".

sovrapposto mean over and under I think sovrapposti is plural or some sort but I wouldn't swear.

'sovrapposti': masculine plural past participle of the verb 'sovrapporre'

'sovrapposto': masculine singular past participle of the verb 'sovrapporre'

'sovrapporre': verb, principal translations; overlap and superimpose. secondary translations; pile up and lay upon.

'sovrapposto': adjective; means overlapping

I called and asked a Buddy of mine who is hard core Italian, and all he said was "Hey, Who wants to know, it might not none of his $#@!&*^%#@ business, ya know what I mean" ...? So much for that call ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Sovrapposti = Over under

the word ends in "i" suggesting it is plural


2 barrels (plural) one over each other.

Sovrapposti meabs to run and hide from your Allies who landed in your country on June 6, 1944 and lost over 5,000 men that day. Had it not been for these brave men they would all be speaking German right now.
