If you have one of these older Benelli's can you tell me how to pull the bolt handle out of the bolt so i can remove it from the barrel? I have messed with it a lot and have not figured it out yet. It may be the same as a super 90 but not sure.
I saw that too but it does not say how the bolt handle is removed.I really felt l;ike it should just pull out like Beretta and Remington's do but i can not budge it even with pliers attached.
The bolt handle doesn't just pull out as in an 1100.
It is retained by the firing pin.
The barrel/upper receiver needs to be removed, the bolt slid to the rear.
Ther is a firing pin retainer pin needs to be removed (Part 33 on that schematic).
Then the firing pin can be removed, then the bolt handle can be removed and the bolr components can then be removed out of the rear of the upper receiver.
