No, it is not. It is a private member-owned facility on Austin park land. Currently shooting is limited to member & guests only due to the COVID pandemic. There are no events being offered - registered shoots or corporate events due to virus restrictions. We have five skeet fields, one trap, two 5 stand & three sporting clays courses. It is a great club for the shotgun shooter.
For a TRAPSHOOTER IT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED !!!
But AUSTIN is NOT A TEXAS CITY !!!

It is a PUBLIC facility run by the city or Travis County.
They offer memberships with reduced round fees....otherwise you pay about $15 a round.
They are MAINLY Sporting Clays and Skeet and often close their 1 or 2 traps for a Corporate sporting
event. They do offer BIG 50 events.
The San Antonio area has 3 clubs that offer Trap shoots......The National Shooting Center, the San
Antonio Gun Club (private) and Bexar Community Shooting Center.
Log on to Texas Trapshooters Assn. for a complete list.
