I have been struggling with the first bird and I have at one time looked through, under, and over the barrel and it always seems like I am having trouble seeing the first bird because the gun is either blocking the bird if I hold a high gun and if I hold a low gun I am moving it too far.Yesterday I held a little high gun and let the gun hit the cheek on the first bird and stayed locked for the second bird with some success.I was blistering the first bird most of time but I had already shot 150 rounds so I was little fatigued.Seemed Easier to me.I do not seem to get over the 80, 85, 88 syndrone lately.

I never look under the barrel but directly above it. I wait for the target to appear above and make a aggressive but controlled move to the target. If you look through the barrel then I would suggest holding a little to the side so the barrel doesn't block the target.

Little different than singles in that respect, except easier knowing the flight path. Fine tune your hold point. Slice it thinner...somewhere betwixt and between.

For the first target hold a level gun on the target flight line. Look under the gun with your non shooting eye and when the bird comes out of the house pull the trigger. HMB

Some people hold offline a little and intecept the first bird on the way to the second, they hit more than me.

What silverbullet says, it works.

Watch where the targety is comming from as each person shoots, then align your point just outside of the path, move, bang, keep moving down slightly and up, bang.

Thanks I guess I was looking for some hope init working for me. It just seemed like I could see that first bird so well......I'll find it or die an old man trying to.
