I was given 2000 Win. primers. Instead of blue boxes they are in white boxes
with red and orange. The coloring of the primers is the opposite of the current
Win primers. The body of the primers is copper colored and the center is
silver colored. The man that gave them to me has no idea of their age.
Also they have been stored for a long time in a cabinet in an unheated garage.
So I loaded 50 shells with them and will shoot practice with them. I don't want to
load a bunch until I know they are still alright.

I just used the last of the primers in question Loaded and worked as they should. Mine were also given to me and I constantly thank them for such a kind gift.

I also still have several boxes of Winchester WAA12 wads in same color scheme. No UPC code on boxes so thinking around early to mid 70's.

Rather than worry about whether any of this old possibly defective stuff is any good, just send them to me for proper disposal
