For prairie dogs I use a 40 V-Max with 24.5 of Reloder 7.

For yotes you might want to try 55 grain SX with 27 gr. of 748.

Both well proven loads.

Dear Bulge

Work up to 27 gr Accurate 2520. Your gun should have some freebore for these bullets (Wylde chamber). Set bullet .015"-.020" off the lands. Trim case to 1.75". These hulls like to stretch with heavy loads. Using a long inside neck chamfering tool will make a difference.

Fed Match works well if available. WSR will work well too. CCI might be harder for AR-15 type rifle.

The nickname for Accurate 2520 is "The Camp Perry Powder". This should be a hint.

It also may be the best powder for the 168-175 gr Match bullet in the 308/7.62mm.

Bulge,
The AA2520 is a good powder to start with.Winchester brass/cci small rifle mag.primer/25.5gr.2520/69gr.sierra hpbt match. If you are shooting a military style m 16 cci makes a primer that has a thick cup to prvent slam fires it is a # 41. Shoot well, shoot often.
