Finally got my old White Flyer out yesterday with my nephew. Picked this up a year or so ago, from a small club up in NW Wisconsin. Was covered in oil grease ad clay pieces. The paint is still all original. Made a cheezy cart just to try it out. Love these old machines.

Love how you saved that trap Steve !

I have one of these WWF Auto Angle traps from my old club in NY. McNeely5 saved my bacon by having a cocking/pulling receptacle which had gotten lost over the years.

Mcneely5 has a great farm / ranch where he can use all sorts of his vintage traps, and he is one that I know of that has a Cline Puller mounted to one of these western White Flyers. Perhaps he will post a picture of this vintage set up.

Steve, Your V1517A machine was used for tournament trapshooting for many years! It featured a self-angling base taking the chore of angles away from the setter. As rural electrification became available the innovative Clyne Brothers (trap shooters) implemented their cocking device. The pull pipe was a quite a physical chore.
Dave, here is a photo of a Clyne device installed on a V1517 trap along side of a 1524 wobble trap. Mounted on our 1930 Ford Model A trailer--it was the ranch welding rig for many years!
