I am trying to date a Beretta catalog that I have. Among the many firearms featured are a 304, 390, 686, 687, 682, ASE90, and SO5s. Four barrel skeet sets are shown and the 390 appears to be introduced. I believe I picked the catalog up in the early 90's but it could have been a few years old at that time.

It does NOT list the DT-10, which debuted in 2000

It does list the ASE90 which debuted in 1992

So it should be between those years...

Should be a copyright year on the back cover. Back then Beretta came out with a new catalog every year. 1997 was the 470th anniversary catalog. There are a bunch of old catalogs on eBay.

I have quite a few Beretta catalogs for reference, some years the same cover was used while not all catalogs were dated on the bottom of the back cover. While X Traps were cataloged and not pictured when the 682 Gold model introduced early 90's. Beretta had a habit to carry over minor "running changes" to new introduced models that were not cataloged.

The AL390 ran from 92 to 99 (with a whole lot of variations).

The 304 looks to only have been offered in 1994.

Good information here for those that like the older model Beretta guns like the 682 Gold and the 390.

I shoot an AL390.....thanks for the info. I love 1100s, but just got sick and tired of the breakdowns. 390s are trouble free!

I 2nd what 390freak said. I have a money maker 1100 that I just gave up on. Great for trap but the constant jamming 5 or 6 times per 100 got old in sporting Clay's got old! I shoot a high rib 390 now. Love it!
