How good are Angle Port Ext. Optima chokes? (non-ported) Would you consider them on the same level as Brileys and Wrights.

No... from my experience only, Brileys are better and Wright's are not as good.

For me, it has to do with the length of the parallel section in the tube. The shorter the better, down to about 1/2" long. Briley uses 3/4".

The chokes with 2 knurled bands have a longer parallel section than the current ones. Sadly these have been dropped. These may have been the best ones made.

Brileys are good chokes as they are currently made.

I have used Angle Port chokes for some time and they have the 2 knurled bands as mentioned above. I just received a set for my son-in-laws Christmas Present and they also have the 2 Knurled Bands. I believe they are as good as anyones chokes.

What about the ones with 3 knurled bands. Just bought several from "shooting coach". No previous experience with them.
