Right now, I have probably 50 flats of 12, 20 and 28 gauge ammo, plus about 20 ammo cans with metallic cartridges, about 30# of powder and 15k of primers then close to 80 guns in a extra walk in closet we have now.I have about 20 flats in each of 2 bedrooms, works for me.

Cold and heat no problem. So we will be moving to a place with a unheated garage and I have questions about storing my ammo. Temps here in Northern Nevada can go from in the low teens in the winter to over 100 in the summer.
Is storing my powder, primers and ammo in the garage going to be a problem. In our old place I used a extra walk-in closet to store everything.
Will probably build some wood risers to keep it off the floor if it's good.
Kevin at Down Range Wads told me they have shown a 50 ft reduction in FPS with cold shells. His definition of cold was stored in the garage in winter in the northern latitudes. So we will be moving to a place with a unheated garage and I have questions about storing my ammo. stored 50 cases of Remington Nitro in my unheated garage for 12 years. Kept them off the ground. Had zero problems with shells.I've stored all of my reloading supplies in my shop for years with no climate control and never had any issues. Keep it off the floor and out of direct sunlight and you should be fine.
