Your pricing on Promo compared to two recent retailers pricing for same product would definitely indicate a bit of good old gouging is at play in the market place. Duh, go figure.

Using the starting and ending prices for both types of powders is a reasonable way of looking at it.

Well, there definitely has been a shortage of Alliant target grade powder in the market place. I fail to see the need as an essential in your description that Iam presuming you feel are needs to justify potential “gouging”.

Will add tax etc . Small club not for profit . So end price will be something like $260.00.
$232.00 each or $2320.00 for the lot.
High gun quote was $244.00 each.
We are a small club so a larger place would get a better/ lower price.

Actually beer can be detrimental to survival in certain weather related conditions.

Beer detracts hydration. Beer can weaken tolerances to cold and heat.
Water has neither of these negative properties, and most importantly is required for body function and maintenance.

I had American Select on my notify list at Midway and I think just last week got an email from Midway saying American Select would no longer be available. I don't know if that means it will no longer be produced.

Just finished off my last bit of American Select and I'm in the process of switching to Tite Wad.

Inflation has messed up my brain so much that $370 doesn't sound terrible. Though I think I paid under $200 when I last bought Promo!

The last Promo I got was $99 and the last Green Dot was $128 tax included. And of course they were eight pounder’s. And I still have them

Two things I have noticed with Midway. One after a certain amount of time has passed you will get the message you received. Two by sending that message they no longer have to honor the price the idem was when you placed the notify me request.. Most of the time its the first one.

The math says I'll pay over $8/box to reload (free hulls). I went in with three guys buying a pallet of shells at $78/flat. If I can continue to get that deal it's a no brainer!

There seem to be a lot of deals out there for $8/box shells -- Top Gun quality mostly. I agree, hard to do the math and justify loading.
