Hello Im posting this question in ref. to change a Alferman trigger from release to pull.Is it something that I can do myself with the proper instructions or should I send it to a gunsmith who has experience with the Alferman trigger system. Thanks in advance for a reply

Thank you very much I really appreciate it. I have the chance to check out a very nice Alferman but do not shoot a release so I want to do things right :) George

To remove the trigger, the gun must be cocked. Remove the socket screw in the bottom of the receiver and
tap the trigger housing from inside. It will drop right out.

To reinstall the trigger it also needs to be in the cocked position....

Assuming you have the correct parts, it is not difficult. If you have a problem, you can send the trigger to Larry, or myself, and we can make the right parts. PLEASE, do not allow anyone to file or hammer, or grind ANY of the parts. They should work perfectly. Almost all guns "should" have the right parts with it. We would be glad to help if needed.........Merlyn.... 636 456 1012
