Poor ol' Alex got slammed with a 162 game plus playoffs suspension, and now he is crying foul. These guys take banned substances knowingly and willingly, and then after they get caught, they act like it is someone elses fault. Supposedly, there is an interview on 60 Minutes tonight with the dude that injected A-Rod. Some of the drugs A-Rod injected himself. I say-you play with fire, your going to get burned. The Yankees were probably hoping for a lifetime suspension, instead of 1 year. LOL The one year suspension will save them 25M, that is some serious coin even by Yankee standards.

PEDs? are eyeglasses a performance enhancing device? Lasik - is that cheating? Is Viagra a PED? - performance enhancing drug?

With advances in technology and medicine they are going to be some issues that will have to be addressed.

It's okay for one person to use eyeglasses but not okay for ARod to take a pill to make himself stronger or more durable????

The drugs he was taking are banned by baseball. Eye glasses, hearing aids, Viagra, and so forth are not. Babe Ruth lived on beer and hot dogs. Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin lived on booze. Those are not banned either. You need a stiffer bat in the bedroom, go for it. A-Rod was taking HGH, Testoterone, and some other stuff I can't pronounce.

Barry Bonds got house arrest for lying in court about PED use. But this was when he was retired.

Arod had the talent without PEDs to be the greatest player of all time. I could understand a guy trying to make it to the big leagues to take the drugs. But Arod was blessed with as much talent as any player ever. He's made 500 million playing baseball and thought he needed PEDs. He's an idiot.
