What are Alcan 220 Max-fire 209 size primers worth per 1,000? These are very good primers, especially with slow burning powders, I used to use them all the time until they quit making them, a friend has 5,000 for sale.

Gary, as a former user of the same, I would gladly pay the going price of premium primers for these! I'd love to find 5000 of those primers! I think they were even more powerful than the current crop of Fed. 209As. Hap

PS, did U get my email?

I'd just returned from a quail hunting trip up north when I read your PM. In the email, I told you to send the photos and I'd post them for you this morning.

They are not for sale, they were sold Saturday night at Mid State. Don.

I was wondering what they were worth to shooters who used to shoot them, like me.

$100 for 5,000 was a good buy.

Don if you had come sat. night you could have bought them.

They were great primers to use with PB. Made a great load for my wife and kids when they were starting out. They were hot. If my aging memory serves, we used to get them in our shop at about $6/1000 (back in the dark days of Smith and Wesson's takeover by BP group...Alcan was one of the "related" items you had to take from your jobber to get the Smiths you wanted.)

Wish I'd kept a few 5000 paks when i had them.
