It was the Arabs that first invented the condom, and this was circa 700 BC. They discovered that using a goat's lower intestine it was possible to near eliminate the likelihood of their womenfolk from becoming pregnant. The Arabs sought and enjoyed great pleasure from this new activity.

It was only in 1873, that the British somewhat refined the idea. This innovation was achieved by taking the intestine out of the goat first.
