Out at the club today and watched a gentleman shooting a 45 cal. air gun at 100 yard - unblievable accurate. With primmer and powder shortages could a air gun shotgun be a viable alterative?
Thank you, very interestingShoots a .4 ounce (170 gr) shot load (approx 117- #7 1/2 pellets) at around 1,000 fps.
$19.00 for 25 rounds of shot or $12.50 for the empty plastic capsules.
Filling up an air or co2 main supply tank runs 10-40 bucks at a welding or paintball shop depending on the size.
Cheaper to shoot 12 gauge.

Lewis and Clark had one:
Not a bad idea. A lot of guys would like an excuse to buy another gun.Anything to keep cash flow going to keep the club in business is doable. Airgun shotgun? Dunno, but pellet gun league, indoor or outdoor?
