I have a question. I think I know thw answer but want to be sure. Can you shoot 380 ammo in a 9mm pistol. Thanks, Hoosier

Only if its a 9x17mm or 9mm kurz pistol. (aka .380 ACP)

The 9mm your thinking of is probably the 9x19mm or 9mm luger, .380 ACP ammo will go into the chamber too far for a primer strike and even if you did get one to fire it probably won't function the gun.

.380 ACP (9mm Kurtz) is about 9x17 (case measures 17.2 mm)

9x18 Makarov is a Russian cartridge

9mm Parabellum is 9x19 (German design I presume)

I just purchased a Polish P64 in 9x18 from J&G Sports. Mine arrived in new, un-fired condition. A nice pistol for $150! I don't have the ammo yet so I don't know how well it shoots. It seems a little heavier than my Bersa Thunder .380.
