99 plus barrel on just a regular 99 Possible?

If you don't understand the thread name I was just wondering if it was possible
to fit a Browning bt-99 plus barrel on a regular bt-99? I found one online for a good price and just wondered.

Bt 99 plus is the adjustable hi rib with the recoil absorbing stock. I would think they would fit an older BT 99 at least, the newer ones? , I also wonder if anyone at Browning would really know. Good idea tho. Inquiring minds.....
