I am considering the purchase of a BT-99 that is a 1977 and the owner has told me it shoots 80-20. It also has a monte carlo stock with an adjustable comb. I have test shot other bt99s at my club, all newer guns with conventional stocks. How much of a difference will there be between the guns? Thanks

Those year BT99's were indeed high shooters. I'm not sure if its an 80/20 but the pattern board will tell you that. Those are definately the more desired years of BT99's.

You will generally have to float the target a bit with those early BT's. This isn't the case for everyone, but do like grntitan mentions and head to the patterning board.
