For Rey and all other 682 experts. Apparently Beretta had 2 different step ribs before they went to ramp ribs sometime in the 90s. The X rib is a 1/2” rib. Does anyone know the height of the lower step rib? Maybe someone has one and can measure.

The early 682 X Traps were 1/2 " ? Which rib was 3/8" ? While all were 10 mm width 682 S, 682 and 682 X and early Gold's. I think it was 1995 682 combo sets the single was 3/8" and double 1/2" you need be to measure one can do, any thing for you Mark ...................

I've also seen a Beretta with a VERY low step rib, no more than 1/8". It was being shot by a Canadian, so its quite possible it was something that was never imported into the US.
