Are you after bragging rights?lolHi All and Merry Christmas

Actually a crimp that good is seldom seen on a factory shell. That reload is probably a bit slack on shot weight in my mind.Yeah, have to agree with everyone, that is a very nice crimp!
Good load. Been using it for quite a few years now with a couple tenths less powder. It makes the perfect stack height in the HS hull. Thanks for all the posts. First time loading 410. Using a MEC Grabber. 1/2oz home made #8 shot, claybuster wad and 15.3gr of W296. Going to have lots of fun next year shooting skeet!!!
1/2oz meaning how many grains? If you're dropping a true 1/2oz(218gr) you are short of a factory AA which averages 225gr of magnum shot. If you're using an unaltered Mec 1/2oz charge bar you're probably even short of 218gr.Thanks for all the posts. First time loading 410. I put in the extra lead. Bought one of the bars where you can put bushings in both the powder and shot side of the bar. I need all the soldiers I am allowed with the 410.Besides,
NSSA allows 232 gr max for .410.
So if your a serious skeety,
MG
Very smart choice! Why handicap yourself?I put in the extra lead. Bought one of the bars where you can put bushings in both the powder and shot side of the bar. I need all the soldiers I am allowed with the 410.
