I just started to load some. But first 3 went well so I thought. After my first 2 I noticed on the brass part like a budge in the brass like a small ring. Wasn't there when I resized it. Wouldn't fit in my gun. I used the red clay buster 1/2 wad 296 powder. A Winchester hs 3 inch hull new one.. Would it be the wad seating to hard. I have loaded around 100 rds of Remington long range 3 inch green and Winchester super x old hulls with no trouble. So I thought something got out of line. I went back to few Remington and few fiocchi 3 inch no trouble. What am I doing wrong? I would post a picture if knew how.

Long story short.1) Check your base diameter after resizing (micrometer).
2) Reprime shell. Check diameter again.
The powder drop tube that pushes the case over the primer can squeeze the basewad enough to bulge the base metal.
I am speaking from personal experience. The different cases may have different basewad hieghts.

Sir u where right!! Thank you so much. If i reprime the hull to hard it would do it. Another issue I had. I had to put 4 to 6 pellets in each round. I adjust the wad station took care of it.
