I own both. Slight difference in gas piston design. Pistons are interchangable. I have Optima Bore on both. Both are target guns. My wood is a nice grade of walnut. Don't know anything about no fake or phoney wood. Beretta doesn't make stocks with that contact paper process they were doing years ago. They also have a an Extra Grain process on some guns which walnut is enhanced. The stocks are not pine or plywood as some believe. Kreighof uses the same process on some of their guns also. That new single break open gun KX6 KS6 whatever? I never experienced any carrier issues I'd like to think that's because I know how to load the gun and I shoot good reloads.
