I recently purchased a 3200 with a measured barrel length of 27-1/2 inches. Is this the normal length for the 28 inch model?

Yes, the 3200s were actually a 1/2 inch short of stated barrel length.

was there a reson for this? International skeet shooters like 27-1/2 inches. Mine is a competetion model.
