In Midas' Model 12 book he talks about model 12s being modified at the factory for 3" shells; not Duck Guns but std Model 12s.
Has anyone run accross one of these ? Are they really safe for 3" shells?
I have run accross a 3" gun locally but not sure how to tell if it is factory or gun smith done; or if it matters.
